Captivating

Every woman should read Captivating:  Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul by John and Stasi Eldredge.  I actually considered making that sentence my entire review, because that tells you how I feel about this book.  I will be buying many more copies for friends and families.  I feel so strongly about this book.  There have been a few books in my 43 years that have affected my life in a profound way.  Captivating is one of those books.  I am forever changed by reading it.



Written by husband and wife team John and Stasi Eldredge, Captivating is a non-fiction book that will lead you to the heart of how God made and loves you.  I'm not a great non-fiction reader, but I wanted to keep reading this book.  It was filled with stories of women the Eldredge's have met or worked with to illustrate their points.  There were also many stories from the authors themselves. 

If you are a woman or teenage girl, please get a copy of Captivating.  Today in worship I was brought to tears by how much God loves and adores me.  It is because I read Captivating that I was brought to that realization.  This book is worth whatever it costs and much much more.  You can find it at Christian Publishers here, or Amazon here.
