Opening Day

Thursday was opening day for our favorite team the Philadelphia Phillies.  The Big Dog took the day off so that we could all watch the game together.  I wanted to share our opening day meal with you:

Yes, my friends, that's hot dogs, peanuts and cracker jack!  You remember the song, "Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack."  Well, of course, we didn't just have hot dogs, we had lots of fixins.  It was a lot of fun AND our team won!

I may not always pull together a huge unit study with lots of activities, but we're building little memories.  One day, in the not too distant future, our boys will have homes of their own.  maybe they'll serve peanuts on opening day too.
